But not only will they be offering a great product, but by purchasing a box of these delicious delights you will be making a difference in the lives of children in the Greater Pasadena, Texas area. Every year Kiwanis Club of Pasadena offers some of the finest apples, straight from the growers in Washington. These apples will be here just in time for the Thanksgiving Holidays. The most popular, and a true snack favorite, is the Medium RED DELICIOUS. Another favorite, the GALA, a delicious apple, is often used for baking. This year they will be offering a very limited number of the tart Granny Smith. In 2007, City Councilman, Jack Douglas stopped by to check out the apples and talk to Kiwanian Quincy A. James.
